£11.5m St John’s Wood villa sells for the second time in six months
March 26th 2018
In a somewhat unusual turn of events for the upper end of the market, an £11.5m mansion in St John’s Wood has changed hands for the second time in just six months. The Grade II listed Georgian villa on Hamilton Terrace was originally tucked away last summer, but found itself back on the market just a few months later after the owners decided to move into the centre of town. Despite some fairly challenging market conditions, high-end NW London agency Ian Green Residential managed to swiftly source a suitable new buyer, who went on to seal the deal earlier this week. Sited on the favoured Eastern side of the sought-after turning, the 5,250 square foot double-fronted affair had been completely restored before the first buyers came along, with five floors of hi-spec accommodation including a formal reception, formal dining room, kitchen/breakfast room, leisure complex with gym, cinema and bar area, five bedrooms and a 90-foot landscaped garden.
